Welcome to the Blue Heeler Film Festival 2024!

Submissions are now open for the 11th annual Blue Heeler Film Festival and its with great excitement that we announce the theme for 2024.  'Country' aims to inspire films that celebrate the beauty of landscapes encompassing historical, environmental or personal dimensions and those that examine the deep cultural and spiritual connection indigenous people have with the land or their country. Interpret this theme as you wish be it literal, metaphorical, or symbolic. But remember, failure to address the theme could lead to disqualification. Stay tuned for further updates on our big plans for this year's Festival!
